XP & PROGRESSION

Level Up, Rank Up, Get Stronger — Hero XP, Agent XP & Rank-Up Reference

by Anomaly · Updated

XP Systems Overview

Invincible Guarding the Globe has two separate XP systems and a rank-up system. Understanding the difference is critical for efficient progression:

Hero XP

Levels up individual heroes, increasing their power and unlocking new skills. Earned from GDA Ops battles, campaign missions, idle rewards, and alliance activities. Each hero has their own XP bar.

Agent XP

Levels up your player account (agent). Higher account level unlocks new GDA Ops battles with better rewards. Earned primarily through alliance cooperative gameplay.

Hero Special XP

Used for ascension/level-breaking when a hero hits their level cap. Each hero needs Special XP to break through to higher levels. Much rarer than regular Hero XP — obtained from GDA Ops and campaign rewards.

Hero Rank-Up (separate from XP)

Ranking up increases a hero's rarity tier. Requires hero duplicates or same-faction heroes — NOT XP. Each rank-up increases base stats and unlocks higher level caps. See the reference table below.

Hero Rank-Up Reference

To rank up a hero, you need duplicates of that hero OR heroes from the same faction. The hero must not be assigned to GDA Ops. Each rank-up increases rarity and makes the hero stronger.

XP Sources

Hero XP can be earned from multiple activities. The most efficient sources are:

  • GDA Ops battles — Dedicated XP farming missions. Set a team to auto-fight for passive XP gain. The primary source of both Hero XP and Hero Special XP.
  • Campaign missions — Each mission completion awards Hero XP. Higher chapters give more XP per energy spent.
  • Idle rewards — The game generates XP automatically while offline. Collect periodically.
  • Alliance activities — Cooperative gameplay yields Agent XP for account progression.
  • Events — Limited-time events often include XP as milestone or ranking rewards. PvP arenas also contribute XP through battle completions.

Exact XP-per-level values vary by hero rarity. For a precise calculation, try the community XP calculator at the-invincibles.netlify.app — enter your hero's current and target level to get exact Gold, Blue XP, and Pink XP requirements.

Estimated XP Requirements by Rarity

While exact XP-per-level scales with hero rarity, here are the approximate resource types needed to level up heroes from level 1 to max for their current rank tier:

Rarity Gold (GDA Chips) Hero XP (Blue) Special XP (Pink)
Rare → Rare +~15,000~50,000~800
Elite → Elite +~60,000~200,000~3,000
Exceptional → Exceptional +~200,000~700,000~10,000
Epic → Epic +~500,000~1,800,000~25,000
Legendary → Legendary +~1,500,000~5,000,000~70,000
Seismic → Seismic +~4,000,000~14,000,000~200,000
Omnipotent → Omnipotent +~8,000,000+~27,000,000+~380,000+

Values are community-estimated per rank tier (level 1 to tier cap). Actual values vary by specific hero and level within the tier. Use the community XP calculator for exact numbers at your specific levels.

Tips & Strategy

1

Always keep a team running in GDA Ops — it is your most consistent Hero XP source even when offline

2

Save Hero Special XP for your main team — do not spread it across all heroes. Focus on 5 core heroes.

3

Rank up heroes strategically — a Rare + hero is often stronger than a base Elite. Faction dupes are easier to obtain than hero-specific dupes.

4

Join an active alliance — Agent XP from alliance activities unlocks higher-tier GDA Ops with better rewards

5

Do not rank up a hero currently assigned to GDA Ops — remove them first, rank up, then reassign
